Kathleena knew she wanted to be an artist
from the age of eight or nine. After dabbling in
watercolor painting and pastels, she became
fascinated with makeup as a young teenager
and started experimenting with hair cutting
and styling on family victims.

She went on to live in NYC and became
a licensed cosmetologist in the process
of earning her undergraduate BFA degree
in Theater from New York University.

Her career blossomed at the legendary
Il Makiage, a mecca for makeup artists
in New York City in the 80's… From 
there, she honed her skills working in
the fashion industry in Paris, Milan,
and Madrid on editorial photo shoots.
After returning to Manhattan and 
working as a stylist in fashion for over 
12 years, Kathleena relocated to the 
San Francisco Bay area and now calls 
the East Bay home.

She passionately enjoys her work and 
specializes in fashion and beauty, commercial 
print advertising, catalogs, video and 
television photo shoots with more than 
21 years of experience. Her work has been 
featured in prestigious magazines such as 
Vogue and Cosmopolitan. Commercial clients 
have included Hewlett Packard, Bank of America 
and Coca Cola. Some of the celebrities 
Kathleena has worked with include Heidi Klum, 
Cindy Crawford, and the "wild and crazy guy", 
himself, Steve Martin.
